  “Great prices. The only show in town for comics, but still a great selection. Gamers atmosphere, which means it is usually loud and rowdy. Not a great mood for browing, but not too bad. Definitely not for small kids or anything, but again good selection of comics.”

  “The building is old and thus the outside looks a little less than respectable. However it is a great place to play card games and find rare comics at cheap/decent prices. The card shop part of the store is definitely the primary target of day to day business. Thus the response above is somewhat true depending on what day of the week. I don't however think there is a group of nicer people in all of Burlington NC. The costume shop is also nice.”

  “Seedy looking place. Also has a gaming section that overruns the comic area that can be a disturbance to comic buyers with the extremely loud and sometimes obscene gamers.”

  “Heros Haven offers a WONDERFUL service to it's customers.
  
  Mike, the owner of Heros Haven, has been known for his unique style, cheap prices and excellent in-stock collection of comics, toys and TCG's.
  
  Heros Haven organizes events every week to keep the ball rolling. Magic and Yu-Gi-Oh! tournaments are held weekly.
  
  Mike also hosts an event called D&D by Lantern Light. Six tickets are sold during each event. Participants enjoy an evening of a unique gaming (mastered by a Heros Haven favorite, Jay Camp), food served on a grill, served by tavern maids, all under a tent lightened by lantern.
