Great Shop
“Excellent store. The owner is helpful and personable and chooses not to rip off his customers like some gaming/comic book shops will. I can\\'t imagine shopping anywhere else for gaming supplies.” -

North Star Comics “When we first moved to the Walla Walla area I was excited to find that this store existed. I set up a monthly pull list, as I had when I was in the town we moved from. \n \nWhen I asked about when I would be getting a discount for the comics I was buying (I was use to getting a 15-20% discount), due to ALWAYS buying the same (if not more) comics every month, I was told that in order to get ANY sort of discount that I needed to pay UP FRONT for an ENTIRE YEAR for EACH title that I wanted. Note that I typically buy between 40-50 titles every month. Up front, this would amount to over $1400. I told them that I couldn’t do that. Their suggestion was to then pay full retail price. I came to the conclusion that I would be saving a lot more money if I went to an online comic source. I soon canceled my monthly pull list and notified them that I would be going to an online comic source that DOES provide discounts. Now, I only go in once in a while the store to buy comic book bags and boards or an occasional accessory for gaming. \n \nThe owners are a brother and sister team. The sister is very nice and helpful. The brother, however is a mean-spirited individual who has done nothing but treat me and my son with spite since I don't buy comics from them anymore. Today, however, was the last straw. When I went in today, the vicious attitude of the brother was astonishing to behold. I truly do not understand how they can still be in business when he treats customers like this. \n \nI would NOT recommend this store for 2 reasons: \n1) You can get it cheaper elsewhere \n2) You will NOT get decent customer service \n \nIts pretty sad when the only comic book store in town is losing business with these practices. \n”
